Carlos A. Escurel
Practice Areas: Mr. Escurel has been practicing law since 2002, with his primary focus on civil defense litigation, including medical malpractice, general negligence and professional negligence. His practice also includes insurance defense, and he has represented American National Insurance Company, Allstate Insurance Company, Farm Bureau Insurance, MetLife Auto & Home Insurance, and State Farm Insurance Companies.

Biography: While in law school, Mr. Escurel served as Chairperson for the Free Legal Aid Clinic (FLAC), as a Board Member for the Student Trial Advocacy Program (STAP), and as a Board Member for the law school’s Student Board of Governors (SBG).
From 2004 - 2011, Mr. Escurel served as a member of the Executive Council for the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan. From 2005 - 2011, Mr. Escurel served as a member of the YLD Council for the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD) and served as the Young Lawyers Division Liaison to the Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar from 2011 - 2013.
Mr. Escurel was named a "Rising Star" by Michigan Super Lawyers from 2010 through 2015.
